If you register to participate in a 2012 MS Walk by January 31 you will automatically be entered into a draw to win a trip for two to anywhere in continental North America! Not only will you have a chance to win this wonderful prize, but you will be helping to raise funds for MS research and support services for individuals living with MS in your own community.

Team up for the 2012 MS WALK

With the big day only 3 months away, it’s the perfect time to build an MS Walk team to double, triple, or quadruple your impact on ending MS! All you need are three other members and they could be anyone from family members to friends, neighbors and coworkers.

There are many advantages to walking with a team, it can:

·     Offer camaraderie, motivation and a chance to connect with fellow MS supporters

·     Be a great team-building experience for businesses and organizations, as it’s an opportunity to socialize outside of the office

·     Be a source of support and creativity during fundraising, which in turn often leads to higher pledge totals

MS Walk Fundraising Tip #1 – Organize a bake sale at work

Organizing a bake sale event at your place of work is a great way to kick-off your fundraising initiatives and raise awareness about your participation in the MS Walk!

You can ask fellow employees to bring in their favorite baked goods to sell on a scheduled date and time during the work week as well as make some of the goodies yourself. Those who aren’t avid bakers can always purchase goodies or donate their family’s recipes for others to purchase.
