MS in focus
The
July edition of MS in
focus magazine will be all about bladder and bowel control in MS.
In order to get to know people’s experiences with these issues, the Multiple
Sclerosis International Foundation is carrying out a short, anonymous survey –
the results of which will be published in the July edition. If you are someone
living with MS, share your thoughts on the topic by completing the survey
at http://svy.mk/1eUW63F.

Fundraising tip Tuesday: Hold a silent auction
Be creative and have fun while raising money for the
Mandarin MS Walk! Here are some tips for setting up a successful silent auction:
Find an accessible time and place for the event. Create a comfortable area, possibly with some food and drink for bidding guests.
Make sure to advertise for your event locally with flyers and online using free message or event boards.
Build a team to help you organize, manage and spread the
word.

Ask businesses in your community to donate items. How
about fitness items, local art, gift cards or gift baskets?
Make sure to advertise for your event locally with flyers and online using free message or event boards.
You can also reach out to your local newspaper or radio
station to see if they’d advertise your event for free.
Create some simple rules for the bidding process, such as
minimum bids and the time-frame of the bidding.
