We’ve got another Walk Diary from MS Society staff
member Scott. M!
This
year’s Markham-Stouffville Mandarin MS Walk was a blast! Town Crier John
Webster declared the start of the walk as DJ Jim Motton led walkers out onto
the route with his mobile sound system.
During the event, participants were able to take a break from the heat at Markham District High School where they were met by volunteers who provided water, treats and even live music. A BBQ lunch awaited walkers on their return as well as a chance to win over 50 prizes from the biggest prize table the event has ever seen!

In
total, 259 participants took to the streets on Sunday, May 5 in Markham to make
a difference. Raising over $75,000, the event was a huge success.
Come back next week for our Walk Diary from the
