Mandarin MS Walk Countdown – 2 days remain until our final Mandarin MS Walk events of 2013! Do you want to take your fundraising to the next level by donating your reward back to the MS Society as a member of the Mission First club? Join a special group of people who put the mission of finding a cure for MS first. When you generously donate your reward back to the MS Society, you allow us to dedicate additional funds towards the cause and provide vital programs and services to those affected by MS. Mandarin MS Walk Countdown – Only 5 days left until the final 2013 Mandarin MS Walk events! For those of you walking on May 26 that means only 5 days to gather pledges to hand in on event day. But remember, you can continue to raise pledges for four weeks after the Mandarin MS Walk is over.

Not sure how to submit your pledges? It’s easy! Completely fill in your pledge submission form, including the dollar amount you are submitting on event day, your prize choice (if applicable) and the waiver. You may also download and print a copy from your Participant Centre at mswalks.ca

Submit your pledge submission form, all completed pledge sheets and any cash/cheques at Check-in – Baggies will be provided on event day.

Do you have a friend, family member or co-worker who just found out about the Mandarin MS Walk and wants to take part? On-site registration is available at all Ontario events! Even if they only have time to pledge themselves or raise a small amount, every bit helps and we’re always happy to see new faces!

Mandarin MS Walk Countdown - 3 days left before the May 5 Mandarin MS Walk! Remember, we’re walking rain or shine, so if it looks like rain, grab an umbrella or rain coat before leaving the house! Check the temperature before you head out and bring a coat or jacket if needed.

Quick Fundraising Tips

 
There’s only a week left until the May 5 Mandarin MS Walk events, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to do some great fundraising! Here are some fundraising ideas that are quick, easy and don’t take too long to prepare.

•    Countdown to the event. Keep track of how many days you have before the Mandarin MS Walk on your social media accounts. Let everyone know how much time they have left to donate!

•    Have a “How many candies in the jar?” contest. Place a jar of candy in a prominent place at your workplace, community centre or place of worship. In exchange for a small donation, people can make a guess at how many candies are in the jar. The winner gets the jar!

•    Wear a past MS Walk t-shirt to work or school. Wearing an MS Walk t-shirt to work or school can be a great way to start a conversation about the event with potential donors.

•    Ask a local business to set up a donation box on their counter. Attach a sign to the box that lets everyone know the money will be going to the Mandarin MS Walk. Even in a week, this can raise a lot of extra money!
