This year’s Sault Ste. Marie Mandarin
MS Walk can be characterized as one of the best ever! Held on Sunday, May 5 at Roberta Bondar
Pavilion, the event had 120 participants and raised just over $19,000. WooHoo!
Participants had a fun afternoon of activities that included a pre-walk warm up, led by staff from the local Goodlife Fitness, and a barbeque lunch after the event with the hot dogs being supplied by M&M Meat Shops (located on Trunk Rd. in Sault Ste. Marie).
A special thanks goes out to Sherri D. for her dedication to the Mandarin MS Walk. As a long standing chairperson for the Sault Ste. Marie, Sherri has been organizing the event for the last 16 years. Without Sherri the Sault Ste. Marie Mandarin MS Walk would not be as successful.
Congratulations to all the
participants, volunteers and staff. We can’t wait for the 2014 Sault Ste. Marie
Mandarin MS Walk!
