Billy Talent To Host Third Annual F.U.MS Open at Pipers Heath Golf Club

On Friday, August 21st, more than 100 golfers will hit the links at Pipers Heath Golf Club to help young adults affected by multiple sclerosis at the third annual F.U.MS Open. The tournament is expected to raise approximately $25,000, with proceeds benefiting the MS Society of Canada Scholarship Program, supported by Billy Talent and Friends.

The MS Society of Canada Scholarship Program was launched by Aaron Solowoniuk, drummer for multi-Juno Award winning punk rock band Billy Talent, who has lived with MS for more than a decade. Now in its third year, the program has awarded $219,750 in post-secondary scholarships to young adults with MS, or who have a parent who lives with the disease.
