Walk Diary: Brockville Mandarin MS Walk

Jessica C. had nothing but kind words to say in her Walk Diary from the 2013 Brockville Mandarin MS Walk. Check it out below!

This year’s Brockville Mandarin MS Walk took place on May 26 at Commonwealth Public School. With 125 participants, the event raised $25,609! Woohoo!
The first thing I noticed about Brockville was that it is a small city with a big heart! The participants and local Mandarin MS Walk Committee are evidence of this. Each member of the committee works tirelessly with our amazing local sponsors to ensure a successful event. The overwhelming support of the Leeds-Grenville community was another reason why this event was so great!

The other great thing about this event is the route - Brockville’s route cannot be beat! Walkers got to experience the beauty of Hardy Park, St. Lawrence Park and the St. Lawrence River. By the time they returned from their 6km or 10km walk, participants could only speak of how enjoyable their stroll was.

Thank you so much to the committee, local sponsors and everyone who participated!  Don’t forget to mark your calendars for May 25, 2014. We’ll see you there!

Walk Diaries continues next week with its recap of the Ajax-Pickering Mandarin MS Walk!
