Walk Diary: Kingston-Napanee Mandarin MS Walk

We’ve got another Walk Diary from MS Society staff member Jessica C.!
The 2013 Kingston-Napanee Mandarin MS Walk was on May 26 at LCVI in Kingston. This year 194 participants raised $30,705. Congratulations walkers!

Kingston-Napanee’s event would not be possible without the help from our awesome student volunteers! Once again this year, LCVI teacher Jo-Anne Riley rounded up an amazing group of students who were ready and willing to take on any tasks needed to make the day successful! From unloading trucks to setting up sound equipment to helping out with registration, they were on-hand to ensure we were smooth sailing.

Participants were entertained by local singer Mellow Lilly who performed in the morning and during lunch. After the event, Mellow Lilly said it was one of the best performances she’s ever had and loved being part of the Mandarin MS Walk experience.

With all the excitement this year brought, I look forward to seeing everyone at the 2014 Kingston-Napanee Mandarin MS Walk!

Visit us again next week for stories from the 2013 Brockville Mandarin MS Walk!
